The above command will kill all instance of Google Chrome in less than 1 second. Substitute the name of the program whose process you want to kill where I have chrome.exe it the example above. For instance: As long as you know the program’s exe file name you can kill all instances of any program using this command. Once CMD utility is launched, run the tasklist command, it will show you a list of all the running processes. Now you can kill any particular process by running the Taskkill command. For example to kill Google Chrome, run the command as: Taskkill /F /IM chrome.exe. Where /F is used to kill the process forcefully.
I am a Google Chrome user and usually open multiple tabs at the same time. But whenever that happens Chrome ends up getting too slow. Until recently I discovered that unlike most current web browsers, Google Chrome creates an entirely separate system process for every single tab or extra extension you are using. You may have noticed; Google Chrome browser creates a bunch of processes when it is running on your computer. You can see those processes in Windows Task Manager.
In this article, I will explain why Google Chrome has a multi-process architecture and how we can disable Google Chrome multiple processes.

Why Google Chrome Browser Creates Multiple Processes?
Google Chrome is designed to run individually for every individual tab, plugin, and extension within Google Chrome multiple processes. This design is based on the concept of preventing complete browser failure if something goes wrong. For example, if you open a website on your Chrome browser, then this website will remain active and will be accessible in its own tab, even if you open multiple other websites and one of them turns out to be slow or crashes. By separating each tab and extension into a separate process, Chrome browser can remain active even if any tab needs to be closed.

If Google Chrome become slow, you can disable Google Chrome multiple processes on your computer by using the following methods.
If Google Chrome become slow, you can disable Google Chrome multiple processes on your computer by using the following methods.

Kill Chrome processes using Google Chrome Task manager:
Google Chrome browser has its own built-in Task manager which allows you to view each Chrome process running on your computer. You can use the Google Chrome Task manager to view and close any Chrome process on your computer.
In order to kill multiple process, open Google Chrome and then follow the steps below to kill them using the inbuilt Task Manager:

- Step 2: From the drop-down menu click on More tools and then click on Task manager option in the side menu that appears.
- Step 3: This will open the Google Chrome Task Manager, click on any Chrome process that you want to shut down and then click on the End process button.
This will kill the selected Chrome process, preventing it from using resources on your computer.
Stop Google Chrome Background Apps:
Even if you close Chrome browser, Google continues to run processes in the background. This happens when you install Chrome Plugins and Chrome Extension with a default tendency to continue running in the background.
However, you can prevent Google Chrome background apps by following the steps below.

Hello guys, since a month ago, we're expecting some kind of problems trying to kill the chromedriver.exe and geckodriver.exe processes.
We usually run several tests simultaneously and when the TestSuite ends, many chromedriver.exe / geckodriver.exe processes still there on the system.
This problem causes the system goes slower and slower, causing at the end the system crashes.
This is the message we're receiving from the driver:
Trace init:
When we try to quit() the driver:
This is not happening every single time, for example, if we try to reproduce the error in oir IDE's it is almost impossible. It seems that is something related whith too many chrome processes running at the same time (My guess).
This is the method we call in every single test we run (in @after ) we close and quit the driver:
And this is the way we start the driver:
We have tried almost everything (we are 5 testing engineers working on the same project) and the processes are still there.
Windows can't kill the process with taskkill /f /im chromedriver.exe
So.... Please, if someone have some idea, we would appreciate it. We have read a lot, before opening this issue.
Thank you guys! Thank you community!
